Pizza Delivery Driver From Delco Saves The Day, Potentially The World, By Putting An End To A Police Chase Mid-Delivery

Just when you thought that all hope was lost. Just when you thought that humanity had reached our darkest hour. Crime is up, morale is down. It costs more money today to fill up your car with a full tank of gas than it did to send your kids to college in 1996. Sometimes it feels like we're heading to hell in a hand basket. But that's when the world looks to a hero. Perhaps not the hero we deserve, but certainly the hero we need. A hero who is going to rise to the occasion, save the day, and provide a beacon of light to provide a new sense of pride and hope.

That hero is this delivery driver from Cocco's Pizzeria in Aston, PA. In someways, perhaps the most unlikely of heroes. But in other ways, the least surprising. When you think about Delaware County, Pennsylvania, the pizza delivery man is the glue to the fabric of society. Especially from an establishment like Cocco's. Without the pizza delivery driver, nothing else would exist. Businesses would crumble, our schools would fail. And apparently high speed police chase suspects would just get away.

But not on The Delivery Man's watch.

Now I want you to take notice of something here. There's a difference between being a hero, and being a superhero. Any ordinary person can commit and act of bravery and be a hero. But to be a superhero, you need to have superpowers. And this dude clearly has some because not only does he take the culprit down with a vicious sweep of the legs, but he also keeps the pizza perfectly flat to make sure the cheese doesn't run off to the side before he completes the delivery.

A lesser man would have either A) put the pizza down before trying to get involved with apprehending a criminal. But then you open yourself up to the possibility of the pizza getting stolen. Or B) keeping the pizza in their possession but it drops and falls all over the sidewalk when throwing that kick out there. Now you can't complete the delivery. But this man manages to keep the pizza in his possession, take down the criminal, and keep the cheese intact so he can finish the job. Marvel needs to get this man a series on Disney+.
