Denver Police Are Looking For A Suspect Who Tackled And Hurt "Dinger" The Rockies Mascot While He Was Dancing On Top Of The Dugout

You've got to be a realllll jerk to pull this move. Dinger, the Rockies mascot, is dancing up on the dugout, looks like the 7th inning stretch or something but he's up there having a grand ole time. Then we see a fan decide he wants to get involved. The fan climbs up onto the dugout and tries to spear Dinger. It was a piss poor attempt by this drunk fan, awful form, you can tell he had never played organized football. He does end up bringing down Dinger and that is where the video ends. Dinger did end up suffering some injuries, nothing too serious.

I had assumed that security would tackle this guy, throw him in jail and lock him up for the night but it doesn't seem like that was the case! I don't know how he was able to get away, or even how he got onto the dugout. At Orioles games they guard that dugout like their life depended on it. Police are still looking for the guy and are asking for the public's help locating him. Take a look at this jamoke and tell me he isn't the exact type of guy who would tackle a mascot.

The gray (??) hair, the huge Modelo, and that dumb look on his face. He was just itching to tackle an intern in the suit. Scumbag, low life, crumb bum. Hope they throw the book at this guy, or at least make him do a full game in the mascot suit on a 90 degree day, let him see how it feels. Hoping for a full recovery for Dinger, and hoping they take this guy down.
