Big Boy Club: OL Nick Saldiveri Should Be The No. 1 Pick After Gaining 9.5 Pounds And Beating 4 Other Guys At A Meat Buffet Eating Contest
[Source] - On the other end of the spectrum, there's the incoming crop of rookies in the 2023 NFL Draft. Five of those fresh-faced blockers got together for an all-you-can-eat meat buffet in a competition to see which one could gain the most weight.
The five contenders were Northwestern offensive lineman Peter Skoronski, TCU offensive lineman Steve Avila, Maryland offensive lineman Jaelyn Duncan, Michigan center Olu Oluwatimi and Old Dominion offensive lineman Nick Saldiveri. When it was all over, Saldiveri loomed the largest, downing enough meat to gain 9.5 pounds.
I've seen enough. I've read enough. Nick Saldiveri should be No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft based on this alone. If you can gain 9.5 pounds at a meat buffet, you can start in the NFL on day 1. That's the kind of passion, the kind of winning attitude I want from a guy on my team. He beat out 4 other offensive linemen to win the weight challenge.
I've been thinking about this. I've done Brazilian steakhouses and there's nothing like it. Just automatically feeling awful and getting the sweats, it's a delight. But what would be the amount of meat or type of meat you'd go after in this sort of setting. Need to get the different cuts of steak obviously. But give me some chorizo, a sausage sandwich, a bunch of deli meat as an app.
Here's what needs to be addressed though. Did he weigh himself post shit? Feel like that needs to be labeled as well. There's 100% chance this man shit his brains out and likely clogged a toilet after eating this sort of meal. How much weight did he drop after that. I need to know the details, even if I'm strongly saying he should be the No. 1 pick.
I've read enough though. We just had the snack off challenge between Eddie, Frank and Joey Camasta for The Dozen. Change it up next year. I want an eating contest between those guys, Clem, John Rich and Saldiveri.
Shit, make it a WSD Challenge. We know he's faster than Nadu, now have him eat all the oysters he wants against this guy.
Side note - gaining 0 pounds? Thanks for rubbing it in guy.
