The First Barbie Trailer Dropped And I Still Can't Tell What This Is

To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you're a Ken.

It's kind of hard to get a read on this movie. This massive live-action cast, giant budget, and the fact that Greta Gerwig(Lady Bird) and Noah Baumbach(Marriage Story) are behind the wheel has me as excited to watch this as anything. Is it going to be really subversive? Aimed at adults? Funny? Dramatic? I need to know! The trailer didn't really reveal a ton outside of a generally fun vibe with plenty of bright colors. 

I'm still surprised that more theaters aren't preemptively trying to take advantage of the fact that both this and Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' are coming out on the same day. This SCREAMS double-feature deal to me. Charge $40 for an IMAX double feature and throw in a small popcorn or something.
