CBB IN 60: Florida Atlantic And UConn Are Heading To The Final Four

Two teams have punched their tickets to the Final Four in Houston: the first to do so? The Florida Atlantic Owls! FAU is heading to the biggest stage in college basketball for the first time ever in just its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

FAU, out of Boca Raton, Florida is heading to the Final Four after a 79-76 win over Kansas State at Madison Square Garden.

What an incredible job that Head Coach Dusty May has done this season: 35 wins, the most in the entire country. The Owls were picked 5th in the Conference USA preseason poll. 

And tip of the cap to the Wildcats as well. Marquis Nowell cemented himself as a March Madness legend over the last few weeks: heart over height. Shoutout Keyontae Johnson as well. What a comeback story for him.

Another team heading to the Final Four? The UConn Huskies! Dan Hurley and his guys did it. This is BY FAR the hottest team in the NCAA Tournament right now. Another game, another blowout win: 

82-54 over Gonzaga in Las Vegas, and now, the Huskies have won their first four games in The Big Dance by a total of 90 points! Insane. Insane. Insane.
