The First Twerk Walking Out Of The Hospital After Kicking Cancer's Ass Has To Be The Sweetest

Some of you may not know who Amber Sarcone is. In Philly, she's a part of the royal family. Her family runs Sarcone's Bakery, makers of some of the most delicious damn bread you'll ever have the pleasure of shoving into your mouth. Her cousin is Danny, who owns Angelo's Pizzeria--makers of the best cheesesteak in Philly, which makes that the best cheesesteak in the world. And she's easily one of the most die-hard Philly sports fans in a city filled of people who are constantly trying to say that they're the biggest Philly sports fan. The type of Philly fan that the team invites to the draft to make the 181st pick.

A few years ago Amber was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma, which is an extremely rare form of bone cancer that develops in cartilage cells, particularly in the femur, arm, pelvis, knee, and ribs. In order to treat the cancer, doctors had to remove her right pelvis bone and reconstruct it with her fibula bone. And because of that, she's needed to use either crutches or a cane to get around for that past couple of years. That is, of course, until yesterday.

No crutches. Can throw that cane to east jabip because she doesn't need it anymore. She's back on her own two feet and ready to twerk her face off.

Awesome moment for Amber, and an awesome moment for everybody else to put some things into perspective. Had a tough day at work? Lost a few bets during March Madness? Not realize that dinosaurs actually existed? Just look at how pumped Amber is here to be able to walk unassisted, and maybe realize that you've still got it pretty good all things considered. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to run over to Angelo's to grab a celebratory cheesesteak.

Go Birds.
