MUST LISTEN - T Pain Covering Black Sabbath "War Pigs" Is One Of The Best Covers You'll Ever Hear

I am fucking speechless.

My boy Bobby Booshay sent this over to me and said I "had to hear this." At first I thought it was going to be some awful mashup some DJ made but then I remembered T-Pain had a "covers" EP coming out. (I had no idea it was dropping today).

I don't care how big of an Ozzie fan you are, or how much you hate hip-hop, if you think this song sucks no you don't. You just have a massive dump in your pants and need to change your diaper.

T-Pain fucking nailed this. At first I couldn't tell if he ripped the original instrumental and was just going to sing on top of it (he didn't, it's recreated which is awesome), and then when the vocals began I didn't know if he was using Ozzie's originals as backing (he didn't, the autotuned pitch is just that perfect).

Ozzy will be proud.

As for the rest of the album, T-Pain said that he started this record after winning the first season The Masked Singer US, and that “each one of these songs means something to me and helped me fall in love with music at different points in my life.”

He continued: “Now that I’m independent, I’m able to do whatever I want to do through Nappy Boy Entertainment and this is something I’ve felt strongly about for a long time.”

On Top Of The Covers’ was released today (March 17) via Nappy Boy Entertainment.

The record is T-Pain’s first LP since 2019’s ‘1UP’ and features covers of songs by Frank Sinatra, Journey and Sam Cooke. You can check out the full tracklist below.
