This is already about as immediate a day one watch as you can get. On one of the last episodes of LCB we had a conversation about the Indiana Jones franchise and one of my biggest points was that it is just so damn fun watching Nazis get killed. It's a fact! They garner no sympathy for us as audience members and they are so much better as villains vs the garbage we get nowadays. Basically, no studio wants to offend Russia, China, etc. so they don't use them as bad guys in action movies despite them being the most logical ones. Instead, we get PMCs (Private Military Companies). Mercenaries. Bad guys with no actual allegiance except for some sort of vague evil. BOOOOOOOOOO! Give me Nazis getting demolished every day of the week vs that tired trope.
This movie understandably has a very "Old Man John Wick" vibe to it and I can't wait to see this dude run through bad guys with a pickaxe alongside his dog.
