XFL Opening Weekend Had A Wiiiiiild Last Minute Comeback Ending Better Than Anything An NFL Script Writer Could Dream Of

Hand up, after being all in on the XFL the first two times it came into our lives, I was fully ready to ignore it this third time. Not because I don't like football or leagues that start with X, which let's you know it is EXTREMELY Xtreme. But it just felt like the perfect relationship that was never meant to be.

However the XFL script writers knew there were plenty of football addicted idiots like me and got us all completely hooked with an ending that was the definition of XTREEEEEME (Said in 90's commercial voice).

I've been begging for the NFL to covert the onside kick to the 4th & 15 play because the only thing I like more than tradition is fun and the only people that thought that ending wasn't fun are San Antonio Brahma Bulls fans (even the name Brahma Bulls is fun).

As the old saying goes, you can never count out a team coaches by Anthony Becht!

The best part of the XFL is that it could lead to the NFL becoming fresher, like when they stole the overhead cam from Vince McMahon’s (employees) brains.

The XFL has a much more interactive review system:

As well as hearing the play call being made.

Along with extra extra EXTRA points

Even the fans are up to their old cup snake tomfoolery and even have lemons ready to throw on the field if any security guard tries to act like the fun police.

I’ll let Baltimore philosophical legend break it all down:

Perfectly said as always, Slim.

You guys smell that?

The XFL is BACK baby! Damn it feels good.

Now I just gotta find a team…
