Jayson Tatum Just Put On The Greatest Show In The History Of The NBA All Star Game

The first NBA All Star game took place on March 2nd, 1951. Since then, there have been 72 All Star Games. We've seen some awesome stuff over that span, some great All Star moments that will live on in history for the rest of time.

What we had not seen, ever, at any point, was what Jayson Tatum did tonight in Salt Lake

55/10/5 on 22-31 (10-18) in his 35 minutes, I hope everyone enjoyed watching history. Now you have a general idea of what myself and Celtics fans everywhere get to experience basically every other day. When Jayson Tatum sees one go in, you're fucked. I don't care if it's a real game or a fake All Star Game, that's just science. On a personal level, I find it to be a very good thing for Jayson Tatum to be finding his outside shooting touch with the real games starting back up again in just 3 days. 10-18 from deep? A shit ton of pullup threes that Tatum had been shooting just 28% on all year? Sign the fuck up for that!

Not to mention, the best part of this entire game was pretty clearly the Tatum vs Jaylen battle

Jaylen low key kinda cooked him in a few possessions if we're being honest. Imagine if both of those guys were on the same team? I bet they would be pretty good. Probably lead the NBA with the best record I imagine right? One guy's dropping 55 and winning MVP, the other guy a measly 35/14/5 in what was basically just another day in the office. Masked Jaylen doesn't look like he's missing a beat either. Being able to watch both of those guys on the same team is such a blessing. Never take that shit for granted.

All in all, the most important news from the night is that everyone walked away healthy. In a game like this, that's all that matters. Everyone had some fun, we got to see some cool shit, I got some Celtics porn, and Tatum won the MVP. Oh and Joe is undefeated in the All Star Game. Hard to draw up a better night than what we got in my humble opinion.
