The NCAA Revealed The Top-16 Teams For This Year's NCAA Tournament Bracket - LET'S ARGUE ABOUT IT!

- Why this is important? It tends to hold serve. This is the 7th year they've done this and 15 of the 20 No. 1 seeds were just that in March. The other 5? They fell to 2 seeds. Last year it was Auburn falling to the 2 line and Baylor (5th overall at this time) getting the 1 seed. Everything seems to hold pretty well. 

- I still hate that we don't get a full bracket reveal. If we can do a top-25 rankings for the college football playoffs weekly, why can't we see who is truly on the bubble? We know who the best teams are in the country. That's easy to figure out. But what is the committee judging the bubble teams on? 

- The Big 12 is so fucking good. I heard Seth Davis ask the committee chair how they can justify putting 10 Big 12 teams in the NCAA Tournament? Simple. They are fucking loaded. Look at this again. 5 of the top-12 teams on this reveal are from that conference. Best conference in America and it ain't close. 

- Everything up top is right. Alabama is clear the No. 1 overall seed. Houston is clearly the No. 2. Purdue is getting punished for losing lately, that matters.  But they still get a 1 seed and Kansas is going to be the one that's moving all around. I have no problems with any of these 4 in that order. If I had to guess - Purdue would be the one who drops to a 2 seed just because a loss in the Big 12 isn't as devastating as a loss in the Big 10. 

- As for the first 4 teams that missed? Creighton, Miami, UConn and St. Mary's. I get it. I don't know how you judge Creighton. They obviously lost a bunch of games without Kalkbrenner, but every team has had injuries. St. Mary's is the interesting one. They have 3 sub-100 losses already. They don't have that signature win outside of Gonzaga (at home) and SDSU (neutral). Metrics obviously love them, so 5 feels right. 

- UCLA being the last 2 seed is what I see people arguing about. It's right. They haven't beat anyone. Their best win is at Maryland? Yuck. They've avoided bad losses but they haven't gotten that win yet. They have a chance to beat Arizona at the end of the regular season, but until then you gotta gauge what they've done. 

- This does show how chaotic this season is. It feels like maybe 2 of the 1 seeds are locked up? Houston and Alabama feel fine as long as they don't fully collapse. But I still think you have 2 of the 1 seeds fully open. Shit, that could change today if Baylor beats Kansas. 

- This is one of the gripes I get. 

- Right off the bat that Midwest region would be a war. 2 of the best defenses in the country in Tennessee and Houston. NBA talent. Sean Miller, who is one of the best coaches in the country. Big guys all around. That would be one hell of a Sweet 16. By far the toughest based on this bracket. 

- Based on this and assuming everyone is at 100% and not these little day to day injuries give me Baylor, Houston, Arizona and Marquette. But this shows the chaos. It won't be those 4. 

- It feels so good to see a bracket again and more importantly hear that college basketball on CBS theme song. Elite.
