I'm not much of a religious man myself. But if there's a big man in the sky who can pull a few strings to help the Birds come out victorious on Sunday night? Well then sign me up. I'll go to church every Sunday. I'll volunteer time, I'll donate, I'll judge the everliving shit out of everybody whose views don't exactly line up with my own. I'll be the most religious son of a bitch you ever did meet if the big man comes through for us.
And from the sounds of it, how could he not? Dude is one of the biggest Birds fans you'll ever meet. The type of guy who will be walking down Cottman Ave on a random Tuesdee afternoon in August wearing his Koy Detmer jersey. Heck, the first time he knocked up Mary was in Jetro lot. He's telling all of his boys that Kenny Gainwell over 18.5 rushing yards is a lock. May the Birds be with you. And also with you.
Sidenote: I can only imagine what this Sunday's service is going to look like. I'm hoping for full tailgate mode and Father has folks crushing the communion wine out of a beer bong.
