Nothing Like A Good Lie - Bubba Watson Claims He Joined LIV Golf Because His 10-Year Old Son Knew Everyone On The Aces

There's nothing and I mean nothing like a good lie. This is up there for one of the best. I know basically everyone who has joined LIV has some sort of story. They usually don't come out and just say 'hey I wanted the money' for whatever reason. But this? This is the best one. Mostly because this is out there too: 

I love golf. Watch it weekly, everything that goes along with it. I was like 75% sure this was Dustin Johnson's team because I remembered they won a lot. But I couldn't name the rest of the team off the top of my head. Looking it up it also included Pat Perez, Patrick Reed and Talor Gooch. Sure. Everyone knows that team. In fact I thought maybe Patrick Reed because the Aces logo was on the tee he launched at Rory. 

I'm all for team golf. The Ryder Cup is awesome. One of my favorite sporting events when it's on. But, come on, no one watched the first two tournaments and went. Oh yeah, the Aces? That's MY team. The Lakers, Chiefs, Yankees and Aces. That's what everyone knows. Pretty weird not to say he didn't know individual names when one was Dustin Johnson. Pretty sure everyone knows that name. Shit, people know Patrick Reed because of all the controversies. But, sure, Aces, Stingers. Everyone knows them. 

Can't go anywhere without people wanting to talk about the Aces. And if there are Stingers fans in the area? Watch out. Heated rivalry.
