Warren Sapp Claims He Heard That The Bears Are Trading Justin Fields And Drafting Bryce Young

I say this with all due respect to Warren Sapp, but this sentence was spoken like it was from your Dad's sports fanatic buddy who listens to sports talk radio around the clock and washes all that down with reading sports message boards right before bed. Everybody knows exactly who I'm talking about. He exists in every sports social circle in America. Takes every little rumor as gospel and says "they say x team is gonna do this."

The difference here is that Warren Sapp is a Hall of Famer and he's saying he "heard it" which could fucking mean anything. Yes, he certainly could've heard it from someone in the know. But, the way it was uttered makes me think he didn't. It makes me think that he heard it in passing at a diner in Tampa or from another type of sports talk radio show since this "scenario" we'll call it isn't necessarily new and it's been talked about since the Bears secured the #1 overall pick following the end of the season.

It's really a non-story in my eyes. Just kind of a rinse and repeat with a new guy funneling out the message which I assume is going to continue to happen. Who knows maybe it'll happen tomorrow and we'll hear someone like Jason Sehorn say the same shit.

P.S. - I think it would be an absolutely brain dead move to make. Justin Fields has work to do, but this is the closest we've ever come to having a guy. Dumping him for another fresh lottery ticket is a great way for Poles to get himself fired and to curse this franchise forever.
