Kim K. Spoke At Harvard Business School on Friday And Got Eviscerated By The Internet... Which Is Full of Jealous Haters

Kim K. spent a few hours at Harvard on Friday discussing the success of her multi-billion dollar shapewear company. She was invited, with her co-founder (aka the luckiest bastard on Earth), to speak at an HBS class called Moving Beyond DTC. Checks out considering Skims is indeed a direct to consumer brand. And it's worth like $3.2 billion.

But instead of applauding Kim's entrepreneurial prowess, the haters were out in full force...

Fox Business - On Friday, Kardashian, 42 traveled to the prestigious Harvard Business School alongside co-founder of SKIMS, Jens Grede, to discuss the enormous success the company has seen since going to market in June 2019.

The entrepreneur and mother of four, who is studying to become a lawyer, wrote on social media, "I spoke At Harvard Business School yesterday for a class called HBS Moving Beyond DTC. The class’s assignment was to learn about @skims, so my partner Jens and I spoke about our marketing, our challenges and our greatest wins. I’m so proud of Skims and the thought that it is a course being studied at Harvard is just crazy!!! Thank you professor Len Schlesinger and @harvardhbs for having us. #BucketListDream."

Twitter users immediately crucified the business owner, questioning why the reality star would be lauded at HBS.

"It is crazy," one user wrote. "@Harvard should be ashamed of themselves."

Another person wrote, "And just like that Harvard‘s prestige has evaporated into thin air in my mind. It’s not even worth a case study which it is but you wouldn’t know the difference."

One person on Instagram commented, "So Harvard has dropped its standards," while another added "Are people nuts, her walking into Harvard Business School is embarassing [sic]."

Listen, I didn't wake up and think "today I'm going to defend Kim K." And I'm still not sure I'll be able to look myself in the mirror tomorrow. But here we are...

There are plenty of reasons to shit on Kim. She was married to Kanye AND Kris Humphries. Her mom (allegedly) slept with OJ Simpson. She's gobbled dick on camera.

But, Kim K. haters, this isn't the hill to die on. Not only has Kim built a juggernaut that probably makes Spanx wish it never got into the shape game, but whether you like it or not, Kim is swimming in pools of fuck you money. As a reminder, her estimated net worth is ~$1.8 billion.

Which means she's certainly more financially successful than you or I... and the vast majority of Harvard grads (and probably some dropouts too).

Don't believe me?

As of 2018 (Wikipedia really should update that data) Harvard had produced just 188 billionaires (sad!). For shits and giggles let's say that number is 250-ish now given that stonks basically only went up between 2018 and 2021. According to Harvard's homepage there are ~400,000 Harvard alumni around the world. I have no fucking idea if that's alive or dead but let's assume it's everyone. That means just 0.06% of Harvard Alumni are billionaires.

Good news, 99.94% of Harvard Alumni: the world needs ditch diggers too.

So, go ahead and fire off Tweets about Kim getting Jackson Pollocked by a B-list rapper. But calling her out for making the shapewear industry her b*tch ain't it.
