I Can't Be The Only One Who Thinks The Bengals Are A Live Dog Today
As it currently sits the Buffalo Bills are -6 (-265) vs The Bengals at The Barstool Sportsbook. As we all know this was the game that was postponed after a very scary injury to Damar Hamlin. It is good to see Damar doing much better and improving day by day. As we're also know, Buffalo is an ALL TIME environment at home, especially in the playoffs.
The tables will be smashed, the temperatures will be low, and the optimism will be high in Buffalo. To have great optimism is fine, and the Bills have played great all year, have a star at QB, good WR's and a some things are bigger than sports storyline to ball out for their teammate. I get all that. I just want to know if I'm the only one who thinks this line is a tad too high.
A reminder, Joe Burrow is a fantastic football player.
Guy can ball.
Now, I know the Bengals Offensive Line has injuries. Guard Alex Cappa is out with an ankle injury, and Tackle Jonah Williams is out with a knee injury. That's a concern. Especially against a Buffalo Defense that's 3rd in PPG allowed, 5th in yards per game allowed and 3rd in tackles for a loss. Backups must step up for Cincy to avoid Burrow running for his life.
Another quick reminder, if Buffalo doesn't get to Burrow early and often, and lean on the backups of this Bengals O-Line, he sure does have weapons to make you pay.
I think you get the point. Now again, The Bills are experienced, the Bills are motivated, and The Bills are a damn good football team, but isn't +6 with the Bengals almost disrespectful ? Do we really think Joe Burrow can't keep this team in a game down to the wire and inside 6 points ? Isn't he dangerous enough to win this game ? For all the storylines, obviously it will be fantastic to see Buffalo go win for their teammate and keep the magic with this team going at least another week, but I think it's going to be a damn close game.
I'm on the Bengals +6 and I feel like I'm missing something with this line, as always, gamble responsibly.
Let's have a great day of football!
