There's No Better Feeling Than Finding $20 In Your Jacket Pocket, Or $8,000 In Your Backpack

Classic. Everyone knows that best feeling in the world- when you put on your winter coat for the first time of the season, put your hands in your pockets, and a nice, crispy, possibly rolled up $20 bill is in there. It's like you won the lottery. It's like you're god damn Charlie Bucket and you can by yourself another candy bar to split with your delinquent grandparents as your mom slaves away for 10 cents an hour at her 6 different jobs. You have a god damn hole in your roof, the old people haven't showered in months, and you hear Grandma Georgina talking in her sleep when you're just trying to jerk off before bed. An absolute nightmare, god damn, the cops should have arrested that entire house for child abuse.

But I digress, there is nothing better than finding free money. I think it's why Venmo caught on so rapidly- there's something magical about having money that doesn't exist in the real world. You know what I mean? Like when you pay a friend for a meal or a bar tab with Venmo, it's like you didn't even pay at all. One time I had like $3k in my Venmo account and I felt like Natey Bezos. It felt like that money was never going to run out. I got nervous though- like what would happen if I stepped into the street, got Liz'd, and died? Would my Venmo money just be in a black hole? I wonder how much US currency is currently in dead people's accounts, Venmo or otherwise. Gotta be in the trillions, right? And don't even get me started on what would happen to my precious Bitcoin. I should probably make a will, huh? 34 ain't that young anymore, I think it's time.

But back to the IG picture at the top, good for our friend Chance. A quick $8k to start the new year, what a rush. Chance is one of the best poker players out there and runs a great training site called Chip Leader Coaching which I highly recommend if you're trying to take your game to the next level.

That is not an ad but Chance does owe me a steak dinner now.

We've had him on the Cracking Aces podcast and he's fantastic. On this last week we had Michael Rocco, who has $3.5 million in tournament winnings. He talked about how he started his poker journey with play money chips when he was in the 9th grade!!

Was a very good interview, you can check the whole thing out on iTunes/Spotify/Amazon Music/Wherever podcasts are found!!
