Prince Harry Confirms He Has Seen The Crown And Often Finds Himself Fact Checking It

I'm almost done with "Spare," which is excellent by the way and I'll be putting out a big breakdown blog when I'm finished, but in the meantime I've been trying to avoid all of of the crazy headlines coming out of every single gossip site - except this one.

Harry strategically spoke with Anderson Cooper, Michael Strahan, and Stephen Colbert for his "press tour" in the US with this new book. They've all treated him like a human being, without letting him pass up on being honest about a few burning questions us fans have always had. #1 being, "Do you think the royals watch The Crown?"

If there was a TV show about my family, of course I'd be watching it. Especially now that the latest seasons are primarily about Harry's parents. Of course they take creative liberties, they write the show based off of what "the public knows" and there are bound to be errors. I personally love the idea of Harry watching the show and saying "damn, they got that right" or screaming "NOPE, NOT TRUE" at the TV.

Overall I'm not understanding the hate coming out for Harry with this book. If everyone "hates the royals" so much, wouldn't they be hype to hear about all of their shortcomings? All of the fucked up protocols and practices they've been doing to this family of people for their entire lives? The book really is riveting, honest and raw. Especially considering I am listening to it as someone who has grown up loving the "gossip" and "story" of The Royals. Harry's book so far has really made it clear that these are people - not show ponies.
