The Derek Carr Era Is Officially Over In Las Vegas After He Hit Twitter With A 2 Page Notes App Goodbye To Raiders Fans

Obligatory Meme:

Welp, looks like Derek Carr has forced the Raiders hand to the point they have to deal him because there is no coming back from that. I mean, that's probably the case anytime your team willfully starts Jarrett Stidham over you in a game. However, I could see a world where Mark Davis hits the jackpot on a slots machine on the strip and has enough cash to be able to pay for a new head coach also also paying for Josh McDaniels and Jon Gruden not to coach his team, which could somehow keep Carr locked in as QB1.

However there is no coming back from a Notes App goodbye to the fans, let alone a TWO PAGE goodbye. I know that, you know that, and Derek Carr knew that, which is clearly why he decided to only include a skull and crossbones emoji with his small novel. Not because it kinda resembles a Raiders logo, but because it was as much the official nail in the coffin as his career as a Raider as Schefty tweeting Carr got traded.

It may not have been a great career or a bad career in the silver and black. But it most certainly was A career that had one random third place MVP finish to go along with amazing haircuts.

A challenge to fight Max Kellerman and/or Stephen A. Smith in the octagon for their takes.

An INCREDIBLE music video.

And a fair amount of tears coming down from those beautiful eyes that may or may not have had guy-liner on them all these years.

Now Carr is officially moving on from the Raiders and on to his next team, which could be the Bucs after a Team Swap with Tom Brady, the Jets whenever they decide who the hell their offensive coordinator is, or the Colts. Ahhhh who am I kidding, it's gonna be the Colts because that's what the Colts do under Chris Ballard. Best of luck in Indy, Derek!
