Sheesh. I don't even know where to begin. My main takeaway is that Bam looks good. Not great, good. He seems to be relatively happy and put together which is huge. My second takeaway is that I am worried. He mentioned several times that he's off his meds and is relying on the care of a "shaman" to get better. Call me crazy, but it seems like if you suffer from a manic bipolar disorder, alcoholism, and got knows what else western medicine may be the best the best route. But then again, what do I know? They covered the "guardianship" that Bam was under during his year in rehab, the ins and outs of his stay, and his current family situation. It was also interesting to see how every once in a while Bam would go off on a tangent and Steve-O would bring him down to earth. "Oh my wife won't let me see the kid." "Yeah but there's a reason for that, Bam." It's exactly what he needs - a reality check.
