Awesome News - Damar Hamlin Is Reportedly Awake, Gripping Hands Of Those Around Him And Showing More Signs Of Improvement

This is awesome, awesome news. There's not much else to add in what's clearly a terribly sad situation. But at least we're seeing signs of improvement. The fact he's awake and responsive is awesome to hear. Then the gripping of hands and the Bills statement shed a little more light in terms of where he is in his recovery. 

There's still a ton of recovery that Hamlin has to do, but the outpouring of love and compassion has been everywhere. Whether it was millions of dollars donated to his toy drive, simple gestures like wearing his number and jersey across the league, the number 3 being everywhere or even Cincinnati changing the city buildings being lit up from orange to blue. Everyone is coming together to try and help anyway possible. Keep doing that. 

Also a huge, huge shout out to those in the medical field that have helped with Hamlin. Whether it was those on the field, getting him to the hospital or at the hospital, they all played a role in helping Hamlin fight and recover. They deserve as much praise as they can get.
