1. The Raid 2 - 90/100

After fighting his way through an apartment building populated by an army of dangerous criminals and escaping with his life, SWAT team member Rama goes undercover, joining a powerful Indonesian crime syndicate to protect his family and uncover corrupt members of his own force.

The Raid and The Raid 2 are two of the greatest action movies of the last 20+ years. If you like movies like John Wick or Atomic Blonde, they got the blueprint from these movies. Actually, a few cast members from the Raid are IN John Wick 3. They are MUST WATCH in my opinion.

2. Road to Perdition - 86/100

Mike Sullivan works as a hit man for crime boss John Rooney. Sullivan views Rooney as a father figure, however after his son is witness to a killing, Mike Sullivan finds himself on the run in attempt to save the life of his son and at the same time looking for revenge on those who wronged him.

I feel like this movie flies under the radar a little as one of Tom Hanks better performances. It is also just a great movie in general with a lot of depth and a fantastic ending.

3. Kaleidoscope - New series

Centered around the largest heist ever attempted, the vengeance and betrayals that surround it.

I have no idea if this will be good or ass but I am really interested by the concept. Apparantly, you can watch this series in any episode order you want and it still makes a coherent story. We'll see!

1. The Last of Us - New series

The series will follow Joel (Pedro Pascal), a smuggler tasked with escorting the teenage Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic United States

The Last of Us is one of the best video games of all time and easily the most cinematic. Normally, I'd be a little hesitant with an adaptation because the game was already so cinematic but a few things have me excited.

1. Craig Mazin is the showrunner and he recently made one of the best miniseries EVER in 'Chernobyl'.

2. The creator of the game, Neil Druckmann, is heavily involved and helped write the screenplay.

3. It's hard to find an actor better equipped to play an old west style loner that has to be the guardian for a child than Pedro Pascal.

2. The Menu - 84/100

A couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.

This movie has some great scenes and really good acting. It gets a little lost in the sauce at times, but it will be a fun ass watch for any of you that haven't seen before.

3. The Cabin in the Woods - 88/100

Five college friends spend the weekend at a remote cabin in the woods, where they get more than they bargained for. Together, they must discover the truth behind the cabin in the woods.

This is a really fun horror-comedy that more people should watch. Especially if you're tired of the endless shitty horror movies that come out every year.

1. Heat - 95/100

Obsessive master thief, Neil McCauley leads a top-notch crew on various daring heists throughout Los Angeles while determined detective, Vincent Hanna pursues him without rest. Each man recognizes and respects the ability and the dedication of the other even though they are aware their cat-and-mouse game may end in violence.

I shouldn't have to sell this movie because all of you should have watched it at least once. One of Michael Mann's many masterpieces, this has top flight performances from 2 of the greatest actors ever and incredible supporting work from Kilmer and Sizemore. It also features arguably the best shootout in movie history.

2. Hell or High Water - 97/100

A divorced dad and his ex-con brother resort to a desperate scheme in order to save their family's farm in West Texas.

One entry of Taylor Sheridan's Frontier Trilogy (Sicario, Wind River and this), Hell or High Water rocks. It's an awesome neo western that has great drama that earns the action in the third act. Career best performances across the board as well.

3. The Prestige - 86/100

A mysterious story of two magicians whose intense rivalry leads them on a life-long battle for supremacy -- full of obsession, deceit and jealousy with dangerous and deadly consequences.

Just like how I begged people to watch 'Prisoners' and it finally caught fire on Netflix this month, I am here begging more people to watch Prisoners. It has two phenomenal actors in Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman and is directed by a name you all know and love, Christopher Nolan. I promise you that it is worth your time.

1. City of God - 100/100

Cidade de Deus is a shantytown that started during the 1960s and became one of Rio de Janeiro’s most dangerous places in the beginning of the 1980s. To tell the story of this place, the movie describes the life of various characters, all seen by the point of view of the narrator, Buscapé. Buscapé was raised in a very violent environment. Despite the feeling that all odds were against him, he finds out that life can be seen with other eyes…

As far as foreign movies go, this is the greatest one I've ever seen. Incredible drama and gut wrenching reality throughout.

2. The Indiana Jones Trilogy

Simply the best adventure trilogy ever made. The 4th movie is also coming to prime but I don't think anyone cares to know that.

3. Freaky - 80/100

A mystical, ancient dagger causes a notorious serial killer to magically switch bodies with a 17-year-old girl.

This movie is a spin on the classic body-swap trope that is actually really damn funny. Vince Vaughn crushes the humor and helped make this one of the funnier horror comedies of the last few years.
