Last Night The Refs Might Have Botched A Call That Has MASSIVE Fantasy Implications

The fantasy football semi-finals took place in a very high stakes league consisting of Dave Portnoy, Mike Trout, Manny Machado, and several other MLB stars. In a powerhouse matchup of the #2 and #3 seed, Mike Moustakas (Takos And Tequila) took out Jake Marisnick (We Are Phamily) by a 1.62 points, but it was even closer than that.

Marisnick had drafted really well and shrewdly navigated the waiver wire and trade market to land himself in the upper echelon of teams in the 12-team league all season long. He lost out on a 1st round bye due to a points tiebreaker, but his team was stacked at every position. He faced a large 29.02 deficit going into Monday Night Football with only 20.9 projected points to come. But a huge game from Keenan Allen put this one a bit too close for comfort for Moose. But did Marisnick actually win?

On a play in the 2nd Quarter, Keenan Allen initially appeared to score a Touchdown on this flea flicker.

However, the refs ruled him out of bounds. But was he really?

The call would have swayed the matchup in Marisnick's favor. Just an incredible turn of events.

In the other semi-finals matchup, we saw the #1 seed, Wil Myers have a rare off game against the streaking Mike Napoli.

But unfortunately for Napoli, John Harbaugh didn't give JK Dobbins a single touch in the 4th Quarter against the Browns and Rachaad White ended up getting in the end zone on Sunday Night, which would've changed this outcome. His backfield had a rare combo off-game with Aaron Jones, Miles Sanders, and Dobbins all falling a combined 23.2 points below projected. The Jalen Hurts injury really hurt him as he was his main driver all season long.

Meanwhile, Wil Myers got big off games from his Raiders pairing of Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams and still survived, even coupled with a Ja'Marr Chase stinker (by his standards).

So the finals is set, it'll be #1 seed Wil Myers going against #2 seed/Points Champion, Mike Moustakas this weekend for all the marbles.
