On today's Pardon My Take… ALEX BREGMAN! The two-time World Series Champion joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show to discuss winning another title, his big time fantasy football league that has made headlines, and much more.

Another topic that that guys mentioned was the magic that a professional athlete has right after they have a baby. Bregman and his wife had a son in the middle of the most recent baseball season, and Mr. Cat asked if he felt that was a big reason why he hit .390 in the five games after he became a dad. This is what he had to say…

"He [his son] kind of put things in perspective for us, told us what really mattered in the world, and it was really cool. It was an awesome experience to be able to have your first child and I feel like it just kind of mentally… you don't care if you go to the ballpark and you go 0-for-4 after the game, because you're going home to your son. So, you leave it all out on the field and then you're able to flush things a lot easier. So for me, I think it just really simplified life, simplified what's really important in the world to me and what I care about, and what makes me go. So, I don't know, I think he definitely had a big impact on that five games, the second half of the season, in the playoffs, and hopefully the next 12 years of this career." - Alex Bregman

Here at Pardon My Take, we are HUGE advocates of the baby bump. If a professional athlete has a kid, send that tip my way and I will make sure that the people know it's coming.
