Florida Shoplifter Steals Dozens Of Purses And Doesn't Seem To Give A Single Fuck While Doing It

SOURCE- Police in Miami-Dade County are searching for a crook who grabbed as much as he could get his hands on from a department store before literally dragging the stolen loot out of the front door.

It happened a Burlington store in Hialeah on Black Friday. Officers have a clear surveillance shot of the man’s face. They also have his car on video.

Hialeah Police Sgt. Jose Torres called the thief "very brazen". No shit, you think? This guy didn't give a fuck who saw him. He just wanted dozens of purses. Everything else can be damned.

Imagine being at the store and seeing this happen? Especially at what used to be called Burlington's Coat Factory? I always remember those places being a bunch of middle-aged women shopping there looking for deals whenever I was dragged to one as a kid. It would be the last place I'd expect to see a guy who looks like that.

Does this store even have a security guard? If they do and he was working that day, you just have to quit the next day, right? There is no excuse for letting this guy casually walk out of the store with roughly 60 purses in one hand and a giant Santa sack of other shit in the other.

The only thing I can think is this is a Brooks from The Shawshank Redemption situation. Maybe this shoplifter just got out of prison and couldn't survive in the real world and is just looking to get thrown back in jail. Especially in this era of COVID when you can easily wear a mask in a store without anyone caring, why wouldn't you just do that? Also, maybe wear a long sleeve shirt so people can't make out the tattoos?

If for some reason, this guy doesn't get caught…he did just pull off the greatest Christmas shopping trip of all time. Walk into a department store, just grab everything you can get a handle on (purses are a safe bet for the ladies in your life and maybe the sack is stuff for the guys and kids?) and you just turned what takes a month to do into a 15 minute chore. He didn't even have to wait in a single line.
