Jeopardy Writers May Be Dumbest People Alive
NY Post- Fans have slammed a clue that appeared on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” calling it “tasteless” and “insensitive.”
The clue — asked to actors John Michael Higgins, Wil Wheaton and Joel Kim Booster — was featured on Sunday night’s episode, in the category where all responses contained the letter “A.”
The question read “In 2021, fugitive Brian Laundrie ended his days in Fla’s Myakkahatchee Creek area, home to these long & toothy critters.”
The answer was “What are alligators” — and fans were critical of the show’s decision to mention Laundrie in the clue.
Laundrie, 23, confessed to killing his 22-year-old girlfriend Gabby Petito in a notebook before taking his own life about a year ago while the couple were traveling across the country in a van.
What a bunch of morons. How on earth could you think using a girls death is the way to tie in alligators? There's like 67 million different way to ask that question without insulting or bringing up tragedy for a young girl's family. Absolute morons. Almost like they wanted to be that stupid. Absolutely no excuse how that came up in the writer's room or how it got past producers / the network. I have no idea if got to host Mayim Bialik but shame on her if she signed off on it too.
And just to prove how dumb Jeopardy is for writing this ... here's some facts on Alligators I literally spent 4 seconds googling that these morons could have used

If the temperature in the baby alligator nest is warm, male alligators are born; if the temperature is cool, the babies are females.5 Mother alligators lay their eggs on a mound of dirt. When the eggs are ready to hatch, the baby alligators use an "egg tooth" on top of their snouts to break the shell.
Alligators have about 75 teeth in their mouths at any one time, but as the teeth wear down or break off, they are replaced. As a result, many can have about 3,000 teeth over the course of their lives. According to some sources, alligators can bite with a force of nearly 3,000 pounds per inch, making their bite among the most powerful in the world.9 It's no wonder why they lose so many of their chompers.
Jeopardy has yet to comment on the situation but if it's anything different than "WE ARE FUCKING MORONS" I will be upset as should everyone.
