The Seahawks Are 6-3, Leading The NFC West And Pete Carroll Still Can't Stop Taking Shots At Russell Wilson

Part of me respects how petty Pete Carroll is here. I don't blame him. Everyone - including myself - thought the Seahawks were going to be dogshit this year. They aren't. Everyone debated Russ or Carroll. One is getting made fun of for high knees on airplanes, Subway commercials and corny saying. The other has their team at 6-3 and leading the division. Safe to say we're wrong. Hand up. 

But at some point you can't stop talking about how much your ex sucks. You gotta focus on the new person you're hanging out with. That's a little life lesson from this blogger. There's always a period when you can do that, but whe nyou find someone new, talk about them without taking a shot. I can't believe Geno Smith is good. But he is. I still hate him for taking Eli's spot and complimenting Dave Gettleman after beating us this year. But I can admit he's good this season. 

Then again, I think this season is fine. If Carroll is taking shots a year from now we may have to talk to him about taking it down a notch. He's a football coach. They are egotistical maniacs. He wants to be right and he's going to say whatever it takes to prove that he was right. Even if it's something as simple as using a wristband to call plays. I have no idea why Russ would push against that. Seems pretty simple and avoids risking a delay of game, which is still one of the dumbest things teams do. Nothing chaps my ass more than seeing a team dick around, take too long to call a play and then frantically snap it with a second left. 

I kind of want to see how far Carroll will take this. See what he doesn't blame Russ being an asshole on. Hope he goes the rest of the season making up something each week.
