This Logan Paul Wrestling Video Is One Of The Coolest Things I've Ever Seen

Holy shit, man.

I am not a wrestling guy, and I have no clue what I am talking about. So, without that bias, I feel as though I am spot on when hyping up how fucking cool this video turned out from Logan Paul.

This is some Academy Award winning-esque camera work!

So many elements go into what makes this video great:

  1. Great establishing shot with the ref and crowd behind him
  2. Shows the POV of Roman Reigns
  3. Pans to the crowd to add to the scope of the moment
  4. PERFECTLY keeps the camera on him as he leaves the ropes
  5. SOMEHOW, mid-air shows Reigns on the table bracing for impact
  6. Captures the chaos of the landing
  7. Still manages to end the video right on himself

I can't wrap my head around him getting this perfect shot of Reigns, while in the air...

Somewhere, the people who invented the A) selfie camera, B) slow-motion video, and C) the person at Apple who gaslights people into thinking they invented slow-motion video, are all applauding. This is the perfect use of both functions and one of those "only in the social media era" moments that are actually fairly cool. Imagine growing up with wrestling back in the day, and somehow seeing a shot like this from inside the ring.

For a little extra color, here's a breakdown of the whole ordeal from Nick at Barstool (he produces Brandon's Rasslin show)…

Everything else from this match looked pretty damn cool, too…

Reigns won, by the way.

As I said, I am not a wrestling fan, not out of hate or lack of respect, but because I never got into it. Honestly, it's somewhat surprising, because it seems right up my alley when it comes to the shit I enjoy. But by all accounts, even Logan Paul's biggest haters say he's been crushing it in the world of pro wrestling. Everything I saw on social media today with this match would seem to back that up.

ALSO… our trivia show, The Dozen: Trivia Competition has a live-show at Terminal 5 in New York City on Tuesday, November 8th! Tickets are on sale now and you can see the likes of Big Cat, PFT, Rone, Brandon Walker, Fran, Nick, KB, Frank, etc. in person, battling it out for some trivia glory. The events are a fucking blast, and the crowd getting involved is my favorite part. Get your tickets now!

Thank you.
