Trevor Lawrence Acts Like A Scared Little Puss Puss When It Matters Most AGAIN

Let me start by saying this blog brings me no joy to write. In fact, I hate writing it, but integrity is paramount in fandom and I won't stop having top-tier sports integrity today. I'm not gonna go into all kinds of advanced stats or whatever. I don't give a shit about that. Trevor plays well outside the red zone and inside of it, he's terrible. Why? Because he's scared. Typically I would have said that it's an oversimplification. In this instance, it's not.

I'll be honest, I don't know a ton about schemes and defensive adjustment. I can't identify the mike linebacker when a 5-man front has 2 linebackers and 5 defensive backs, some of whom are showing blitz. I can't do that, and I would venture to say most of the folks writing about football here and in other places can't either.

What I can do is see. When Trevor Lawrence is on the field, he NEVER seems like he is in command. He never seems like he's in control. He's just kinda hoping. His face. It's his fucking face when the game is on the line that I simply can't stand anymore. His pale, blonde face gets all flustered and red. He drops back, looks out of control, and refuses to step up and throw the ball accurately. Why though? Why? Maybe the dude just cant do it. Maybe he lacks the passion or at least doesn't know how to show it.

This dude throws backbreaking picks week in and week out. The Jaguars are 0-11 in games where he throws a pick. Yesterday, he had two picks, a terrible fumble, and several missed WIDE THE FUCK open guys. In all honesty, with Jimmy G the Jaguars are probably 5-3 right now AT LEAST. There hasn't been a game that Lawrence put the team on his back and I'm starting to think he might not be able to do it and that makes me fucking sad. I hate this team and it's because of plays like this. Each of the next two throws is the first play of a drive that could give the Jaguars the lead at the end of the 4th… ya know…. winning the game.

And he's just a dumb play for good measure…. it's the second time he's done that exact play that resulted in a pick this year.
