Derrick Rose Said He Almost Left Memphis Because He Hated Coach Calipari

Coach Cal gets away with so much shit. He has won ONE national title but doesn't get as much flack as Coach K despite having some of the best college basketball teams of this era. His entire career makes a ton of sense now though because all he does is lure these kids in with how nice he is and once they get on the court, he treats them like shit. It legit sounded like Derrick Rose was miserable at Memphis, which is hard to do to a college kid that is the most popular student on campus.

Coach Cal clearly thinks he is better than the kids and doesn't treat them right. That is why his teams can barely ever win the championship because it is in spite of him instead of because of him. People deal with him because he is a great recruiter and they can use him to go to the NBA. Nobody is leaving Kentucky being like "Man I can't wait to go back and hang out with Cal". Everyone wants to come back and visit Duke because of Coach K. They call it the brotherhood for a reason because he makes them feel like family. It sucks Reags is going to hear this story and cry. But I am sure Kentucky will be overrated again this season and lose to a 15 seed in the tournament.
