Following Their Huge Upset Over Ole Miss, LSU's Twitter Account Put Lane Kiffin In A Body Bag On Brian Kelly's Behalf

Brian Kelly haters, Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss/Mintzy are down BAD right now.

As if the scoreboard wasn't enough, LSU Football's official Twitter page decided to destroy Kiffin after ruining his perfect season, and potentially snuffing out the Rebels' College Football Playoff hopes for the year. I must now feature a few tweets in a row for purposes of full context.

Yup...the Tigers' Twitter person went there. That infamous recruiting video Kelly shot with a player who wound up committing to Alabama anyway! OUCH. Not only is it embarrassing as hell, but to not even land the recruit who you bent over backwards to make a fool of yourself alongside? Bad look. Bad start to the tenure.

If I'm not mistaken, in the Brian Kelly photo that was shared, I'm pretty sure he's wearing a shirt making fun of his bad dance moves. That's glorious. What a fucking rebuttal. And hey, go to town LSU, because you deserve to take allllll the victory laps.

Kelly's critics only grew louder and more emboldened when he lost his LSU debut to Florida State. Since then, though, the Tigers have lost only once to Tennessee. Hardly any shame in that.

Yesterday's upset over Ole Miss was easily the biggest statement Kelly has made since taking the reins in Baton Rouge. I don't revere Kelly from afar. He seems like a prick, in a similar/less severe way to Urban Meyer. That isn't the prestigious company it used to be. Kelly's disingenuous Southern accent weirdness also rubbed me the wrong way. Having said all this, he seems to at least be willing to be in on a joke at his own expense and I can appreciate that if little else.

One thing's for sure: Brian Kelly can coach ball. Not sure when he posed for that photo with the cute little "WIN!" printout on his shelf, but kudos to the LSU Football account runner who put the loudmouthed-but-quirky-and-likable Kiffin in his place.
