Ken Rosenthal Is Going To Have A Long Night, Gets Bullied By The Phillie Phanatic
When you talk about home field advantage, you figured the Philly crowd was going to be raucous and getting all over the San Diego Padres. But when it comes to Philly, we're not just getting after the opposing team. We're getting after everybody who isn't from here. National media? Sorry but that means nothing around here. If you're not NBC Sports Philadelphia, 94.1 WIP or 97.5 The Fanatic, you can go take a friggin' hike. Poor Ken Rosenthal had to find that out the hard way tonight as he essentially got bullied off screen by the Phanatic.
If there's anything I know about dudes who work in live TV, screen time means everything to them. So for the Phanatic to step in and steal the show from Rosenthal? He might as well have just taken a giant heaping shit all over the Rosenthal name. Which I'm sure the Phanatic wouldn't be opposed to doing later. But you gotta pay extra for that.
