A Random Thought About Turtle Just Popped Into My Head, A Guy Who Had A Great Life Thanks To Someone Else's Fame

Entourage gets way too much slack. Show was very very funny in it's early years, lost a step but overall had a terrific run. It's plot lines were never super detailed but that's what we liked about it. The cliche became Vince got the movie, Vince loses movie,Vince gets movie back. Funny or Die actually did a very funny sketch on that. 

Again, yes the show wasn't serious and had dumb plots but it was about cool stuff, had wet your pants funny lines, and was a fun watch with characters you wanted to root for. The best of those characters to me were Drama and Turtle. Every time they were on the screen you knew something funny was coming. They were the best when they were together. 

Turtle was a complicated character in that he always wanted to prove himself but he did have to overcome the fact that he got to live this lavish lifestyle by being born next to a superstar. Now he was a very loyal friend to Vince and he was a likable enough guy that Vince did have to want to be friends with him , but let's face it Turtle road him from birth to end of the show and got all the benefits. 

Just a random thought that popped into my head as we head into the weekend. How lucky some people are that they meet the right person, a far more driven person, a far more talented person, a far more successful, a person with far more hair, and via a friendship get to ride that success into the (Miami) sunset.
