Bo Nix Is Officially An Oregon Legend After Bringing Chick-Fil-A To Campus
Bo Nix is having the best season of his collegiate career after transferring to Oregon and has the Ducks vying for a College Football Playoff spot. He's thrown for more than 1,500 yards and has 12 touchdowns to just three interceptions in six games.
But Oregon has been to the Playoff before. Nix has delivered something to Eugene far more valuable and rare: Chick-fil-A.
Nix mentioned earlier this season that the Lord's chicken was the food he missed most since leaving the South, so it seems like the fine folks in Atlanta hooked it up for him.
Even if that food truck was only there for a day, someone had a Chick-fil-A sandwich for the first time and that's a memory which lasts forever. Bo Nix is a hero.
If Nix is able to lead the Ducks to a national title this year, Chick-fil-A has no choice but to put a permanent location in Eugene. That's the kind of motivation no coach could ever instill.
