RIP Miniclip - The Website Has Officially Shut Down Its Servers Except For 8 Ball Pool and Agario

It's a sad day. It's a bad day.

Minicli has officially shut down its servers, with only 8 Pool Ball and Agario being the last two remaining available games. Today's generation will never know the excitement of sneaking on your school's computer and firing up Miniclip.

Aside from just the player base declining over the years, the end of Miniclip has been a long time coming. Since 2010, Steve Jobs has been outwardly against Adobe System's Flash platform. He vowed to never allow the technology on Apple's hardware and tech. The letter drew accusations of falsehood, hypocrisy, and ulterior motive. In retrospect, many other companies ended up agreeing with Jobs. So this was really just a ticketing time bomb and Miniclip was built on Flash.

Regardless, RIPIP to a real one.

It's safe to say that this one hit hard with people on the internet. This is part of our childhood that we officially have to say goodbye to!
