The 2nd Richest Person In The World Is A Coward Who Was Bullied Into Selling His Private Jet By Twitter Nerds And Nobodies
The world’s second richest man has sold his private jet after being tracked by Twitter climate activists.
Bernard Arnault - the CEO of luxury goods company LVMH and co-founder of Louis Vuitton - is worth an eye-watering €140 billion.
But he’s not immune to the criticisms of the Twitterverse.
The billionaire’s company has sold its private jet after a social media account started tracing his flights and tallying his carbon emissions.
“Indeed, with all these stories, the group had a plane and we sold it," Arnault told France’s Radio Classique.
The result now is that no one can see where I go because I rent planes when I use private planes."
Unfortunately, these rented polluting chartered jets will still guzzle fossil fuels.
I don't begrudge anyone for making a personal decision. I do, however, begrudge any billionaire who takes chirps from twitter people and acts on them. Dude, if you cant have a private jet as the 2nd richest person in the world - having 110 Billion dollars, what's the point in being rich? He's still renting jets? He's selling HIS plane and renting jets like a fuckin poor? No thanks. It cant be cheaper either right? It makes no environmental impact when he rents rather than owns. It makes sense on no level whatsoever.
But, it just proves this guy is a square. I've heard of Elon, Gates, Jobs, the Waltons, and Kanye, but I have never heard of nor seen this "second richest person in the world." Let's see what this fucker owns. It's a lot.
Bernard owns over 70 of the top luxury brands in the world, including Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Dom Perignon, Moët et Chandon, Hennessy, Sephora, and TAG Heuer. LVMH’s profit engine, Louis Vuitton, took the top spot as the world’s most valuable luxury brand for the sixth consecutive year, with a brand valuation of $24.3 billion—"as much as the combined values of Hermes, Gucci, and Chanel, which ranked second, third and fourth.” Across industries, Louis Vuitton ranked 26 among 100 companies in 13 industries—a list that had Apple in the number one position.
140-150billion dollar net worth, depending on the day, and you can't even own a private jet because a few folks with a jet tracking app and a blue check bullied you. In my day, the house of Dior didnt care about what the peasants had to say. It's a new world with social media fingers ready to shoot your private jet down like HIMARS do Migs on the daily. Pathetic really.
The only way he makes this right is by getting a bigger and better and more climate-damaging plane. I'm talkin about something insane like his own version of Air Force One. He needs it. We need it. If he doesnt buy it, I'm not even sure I want to be a billionaire anymore.
