Hilarious Revenge - Shakira Is Reportedly Close To A Deal With Barcelona That Would Have Her Ex Wear Her Name On His Jersey

[Source] - Barcelona-based sports journalist Moises Llorens’ claims a deal is close to being sealed with the shapely singer-songwriter which would see her feature on the Barcelona shirt, has been echoed by several Spanish and south American newspapers.

Leading Spanish news website El Espanol reported overnight: “Barcelona is planning the 'reunion' of Gerard Pique with Shakira.”

There has not yet been any official comment from the singer or the football club, which has made no secret of its aim of bringing football and music together through its partnership with Spotify.

This would be an all-time revenge move here by Shakira. I'm sure we'll hear quotes about how it's marketing and an honor, but let's get to the point. Her ex-partner, long-time partner even, Pique, plays for Barcelona. Making him wear her name on the jersey? Diabolical even. Sure, Pique may be dating someone new and have moved on, but pictures of him wearing Shakira or a logo of some sort of hers on the famed Barcelona jersey would be one of the greatest moves in breakup history. 

Honestly? I don't blame her. Fair is fair.

You're Shakira, one of the most attractive women out there and you catch your longtime partner having an alleged affair? Revenge is the only thing on the mind. You don't do it by fucking someone else. Anyone can do that. Oh no. When you're Shakira you try to strike a deal with Barcelona, who has a deal with Spotify on their jersey. Remember they just wore Drake's logo against Real Madrid.

So that's where all this stems from. Now obviously there's a lot still to happen here as it's an original report. But Shakira has new music coming out and again, she's Shakira. She's a star. Hips Don't Lie and Whenever, Wherever are certified jams. Coming off a loss to Real Madrid, barely alive in Champions League and maybe or maybe not being broke? That doesn't even compare to this sort of loss for Pique. No doubt he takes a day off if it happens.
