Derek Carr Raving About The Importance Of Having Will Compton On An NFL Roster Will Put a Smile On Your Face

How incredible a sound bite was that from Derek Carr? I mean Will Compton is going to hear that and listen back 1,000 times. Hopefully he finds it through this blog so I keep getting the clicks.

If you don't know about Bussin' you'd probably glance at Will Compton's NFL reference page and not think much of him. Listen to that clip and you'll immediately wonder how he's still a free agent? You could make the argument he's the most important player in the league.

It seems like almost every team in the NFL has a locker room problem. If you played competitive sports growing up you know it was pretty common for the best player on the team to be the leader in the locker room. Everyone follows their lead. No one moves a muscle until they go first.

While it's easy to be that person if you're the best, not everyone may wanna hear from you all the time. You need a guy on the team who barely plays, but can lighten the mood and keep everyone loose. I have watched some Playoff Willy film and he is always the guy running and screaming through the end zone on obvious touchbacks and to be honest that has to be the best gig in America. In the off chance you actually making a big hit or even just a tackle, you immediately have a job for the next two years. Special team specialist is the way to go if you want to skate on by for 10 years in the NFL.

I know I am making fun of Will here, but he's always going to be the guy that puts the team in the right mood. These big stars like Derek Carr, Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers are scared to go up to people and and just fuck around. They have earned a lot of respect in the league and these rookies or even some vets don't want to even bother them. Will is looking for a team for year 10 whose locker room vibe he will immediately improve. These stuck up teams like the Packers or the Bucs need a moron like Will showing off his fake pearly whites pumping up the team. Shout out the boy.

P.S. I wouldn't even mind him joining a juggernaut team like my Giants as well. There's all this talk about Odell, but adding Will would be big time.
