The First Teaser For the Sequel to 'A Christmas Story' Is Here And All I Can Say Is BOOOOOOOO!

'A Christmas Story Christmas' follows Ralphie, now adult, who returns to the house on Cleveland street to give his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had as a child, reconnecting with childhood friends, and reconciling the passing of his Old Man.

There are a few movies outside of the elite tier of Godfather-type movies that should never be touched. A Christmas Story is one of those movies in my opinion. I really hate to bitch about the same, tired grievances about reboots and late sequels but this is really where they really come into to play. If you have the urge to make a Christmas movie, just make a new one! It is so transparent when a known IP like this is exploited for no reason other than to grab a quick check. And, again, I hate arguing against these sort of movies because they pay peoples bills in the same way any movie or show does but DAMN is this just a bummer.

That original movie just has a certain magic to it that MANY holiday movies have tried to imitate with very few successes. Why launch yourself into such an uphill battle with zero chance of success? You'll just end up 'Home Sweet Home Alone'-ing yourself except even worse because that franchise already had it's bar lowered by shitty sequels.
