What A World: The Fore Play Crew Will Be Playable Characters In The New PGA Tour 2K23 Game

You'll be able to play as all three men in the new PGA Tour 2K video game.
"I guess the secret's out," Ryan (might've) said Wednesday morning. "I'm still not entirely sure how my 20-handicap ass has a TaylorMade, Peter Millar and now a 2K deal. But hey, I'm not complaining."

Our friends at 2K shared the news on Wednesday morning, and it's honestly a miracle we didn't spill the beans earlier. Yes, Barstool Golf will be incorporated into the new game eventually—it's my understanding we won't be available right when the game drops, but later on—and you'll be able to download merch as well as play as us four in the game. We got our faces scanned a couple weeks back on the 2K truck and let me tell you, the level of detail that goes into video-game graphics was downright astounding. There were dozens and dozens of cameras, and they had us make all kinds of funny faces to record how our face muscles move. We'll be sharing more about that process as time goes on.
I actually remember when I got the email telling us we'd be playable characters. I was at my bachelor party in Las Vegas (ever heard of it) and had to read the sentence three or four times. One of those pinch-me moments for sure, especially since I'd just made the switch from Big J journalism like a week earlier.
You'll be able to attempt six-footers with Riggs' infamous putting stroke. You'll try to break 90 with Trent Daddy. You'll nip perfect wedges with Frankie because he's a good chipper now and it's random. I'm just wondering if they'll have me in my rain glove. Team Sweaty Hands forever.
The game is available for pre order today and drops Friday.
