Josh Donaldson Hit The Top Of The Wall And Got Thrown Out At First In Perhaps The Laziest Play In Baseball History

That's the laziest baseball play in the history of the sport. This video needs to be shown at Little League Orientation across the country as what not to do. They say you need to think double out of the box but Donaldson started jogging on contact like he just put the ball on the moon. Meanwhile the ball hit the top of the wall and he got thrown out stranded halfway between 1st and 2nd. Could not have happened to a bigger douchebag either.

And let's not let the Yankees fans off the hook, either. If they could catch, that's at minimum a double but the umps probably rule it a homer.

Side note: can you imagine not being able to hit it out with that short of a porch? What is it, 200 to right? The Little League World Series has bigger stadiums than this.

The fact of the matter is that Boone needs to bench Donaldson. If he wants to set an example not only for his team but for kids across the country that this type of behavior is unacceptable then Donaldson won't be out at 3rd next inning.
