Daniel Negreanu Winning $3.3 Million And Collecting His Winning In Casino Chips Is Awesome

So, the biggest story in poker (or the WORLD!) has been the cheating scandal with the J4o hand. If you need a refresher on that, you can click this blog and the other blogs about it are linked inside. It's a wild story that gets weirder by the day. But we're not here to talk about that right now. Nay. Let's talk about something actually fucking awesome- our friend Daniel Negreanu finally getting out of his 2 year downswing and winning the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl to the tune of $3.3 million!

Dan has been on one of the worst runs of his life, getting it in good time after time in big money spots and losing in disgusting fashion. Most recently he lost AA to JJ on the stone bubble of the $50k Poker Masters. But he knew his downswing would eventually end, and he dominated this tournament, going basically wire to wire, with a little help from quad 3s, of course.

So what is cooler than breaking your downswing to the tune of $3.3 million? Getting paid out in chips, of course!

"So Mr. Negreanu, would you like that wired to your bank account, if you could just put your routing num…"

"Nah, chips will be fine".

What a god damn flex.

Just another day at the office. Clock in, clock out, bring $3.3 million in chips home in your backpack. Ho hum, ho hum.

Congrats to Daniel on his big win. He is one of the best players in the world and never doubted himself, just had to keep grinding through it and now you just know he's about to run over whatever tournament he chooses to play next. Beast.
