Some Guys Can't Catch a Break: The Dude Who Caught Judge's 62nd Home Run Ball Valued At $2 Million Happens To Be Married To a Former Bachelor Contestant

As you probably know by now, the man above is the lucky son of a bitch who caught Aaron Judge's 62nd home run ball last night. The prized possession is said to be valued at around $2 million. Here's a video of the grab in real time from the stands.

Rovell and Nightengale were quick on the case to determine the identity of this mystery man. Basically the journalist tag team version of Allen Gamble and Terry Holtz from The Other Guys. Their conclusion?

Now I do wonder if Bob jumped the gun here a little bit. The man was quickly identified by his wife Bri Amaranthus and if you google her you find out her husband spells his name Cory, not Corey.

Now Bob is not a stranger to spelling names wrong. I'd venture to guess he spells more names wrong than right in his everyday life. This is what the Fisher Investments Corey Youlmans looks like on Linkedin.

I'm just not sure that's the same guy. I keep looking at a variety of pictures and with each one I'm either more or less convinced, but it's never consistent. There's been no further confirmation from anyone about the identity of this dude.

Now let's say he is a VP at Fisher, that does not mean he's a gazillionaire. Fisher is a giant company and while they do manage a ton of money, that doesn't mean he's the big gun. A company that big will normally have multiple VPs. There's a good chance $2 million can go a long way for this fella.

Either way we know for sure the guy who caught the ball is married to Bri Amaranthus, a former contestant on The Bachelor. She was an early exit from the show, but that's certainly nothing to be ashamed of clearly…

Unlike Sara Walsh's husband, Bri's appeared to have left the park with the ball in hand.

Job well done sir. You catch something of that significance you get that shit authenticated in the stadium and then bounce. Don't mess up like the Pujols guy. You get out of there, sleep on your decision, and then field an array of phone calls today. Get your wife involved and make sure she's on board with every step of the process. The end result should be a lot of money coming your way and a happy wife.

Some guys just can't catch a break.

P.S. Alright maybe they don't need the money. Look at their wedding video…
