Burger King's Putting Their Big Boy Pants On & Giving Us A Ghost Pepper Whopper For This Halloween Season

Alright, alright, alright. In recent years I've been getting more into the spice game when it comes to food. I really fucking like it! In my experience (of course to an extent) it's the spicier the better for me. Although there's no 2 ways around it that spice and fast food have never mixed well. They'll market something as if Lucifer himself has created it in a literal Hell's Kitchen yet that product will wind up having the scoville unit level of a chocolate cake. Off the top of my head I'm thinking of diablo sauce from Taco Bell, the spicy chicken products from McDonald's and so on and so forth. It's a RARITY that a Fast Food joint can knock your socks off in the spice department. 

Yet can Burger King change that narrative with this one? I'm gonna say the answer is a hard no just by looking at the ingredients. 2 out of the 3 "spicy" ingredients happen to be cheeses in the spicy queso & ghost pepper cheese. You're gonna tell me you're giving me a ghost pepper burger and the only ghost pepper product is ghost pepper cheese? C'mon. At the VERY least it's gotta be some sort of ghost pepper aioli. And on top of that ya got bacon and crispy jalapenos? This bad boy is going to be overrated in terms of spice yet I can't wait to try it. Preparing for battle as we speak.
