Myles Garrett Says His Car Accident Happened Because He Swerved To Avoid An Animal On The Road
Whew, thank goodness we finally got some facts to this story. People were running rampant on Twitter last night with their wild conspiracy theories as to why Myles Garrett may have slide off the side of the road and flipped his car multiple times with a female passenger in the car. None of them were true! No drugs, no alcohol, no horseplay, no texting, no distractions whatsoever. There was an animal on the road!
Although, I must admit, this quote from just days before did not help the discussion die down:
It also doesn't help that he was reportedly going 60 mph in a 35, although, as a lifelong resident of Wadsworth (crash site) and a friendly neighbor to Mr. Garrett, I must add that the report was FALSE. The speed limit is 45 where the accident occurred.
Anyways, it's all water under the fridge now. Myles says he saw an animal and he swerved. Are we really going to get upset over someone that wants to protect animals? Myles Garrett: future PETA spokesman.
Besides, with what reason do we have to doubt what he says? Myles Garrett has an impeccable record when it comes to his character, and he has never been known to tell anything but the truth. I believe Myles Garrett when he says he swerved out of the way of the animal.
The fact of the matter is that this was a near tragedy and everyone has come out unscathed: Myles Garrett, the passenger, and the animal on the road.
