Off A Nice Early Saturday Winner, Let's Get Another

I cashed earlier in an absolutely wild game involving Syracuse and Purdue. Cuse went up 10 with 8 to go, only to blow the lead and be staring down the barrel of a loss down 29-25 with 12 seconds to go. What a wild game. 

Then this happened...

Now let me get to a game I have been interested in all week. I am playing Toledo tonight +31.5 against powerful Ohio State. I know its hard to go against the high flying Buckeyes. But I am feeling my oats right now and I believe Toledo is much better than what this line says. I put Ohio State at -24-27… not 32. 

I think this Toledo group is the favorite to win the MAC. They have a dual threat QB in Dequan Finn who can really move around on his legs and has improved as a passer. I like him and the weapons they have and can move the ball here a bit. Devin Maddox at WR can really play and they welcome back 4 of 5 starters on the offensive line.  They also have a damn good defense which ranked #1 in the MAC and 27th nationally. They will have to clearly not make mistakes, and score TD's, not field goals. 

I know Ohio St is great… they have one of the best quarterbacks in the country, a great WR in Jaxon Smith-Ngiba and a high feeling rushing attack. Though last year I do point to the fact that Toledo was right in the game against Notre Dame, ultimately losing 32-29.

I know a lot of the emotion and all goes out of the way when you play a team like Ohio St, but there's some things working good for us here. Keep in mind as well this is another in state matchup whose Super Bowl is Saturday in Columbus. I'm sure the Toledo kids have had this one marked down since Summer. Ohio St doesn't care nor will they take this game very serious with Wisconsin on deck and the conference season on the horizon. I also think we're getting some value here, I had this number higher like I said. I'm trusting my handicapping and my previous work done on Toledo. I think they are a solid team who will play hard until the end. They aren't a bottom of the barrel team and likely win one of the better mid major conferences. I hope that with 10 or so minutes to go, we have plenty of time to put some points on the board when this game is out of hand.

Remember last week, Ohio St put away Arkansas St by 32, but I have Toledo's power rating much higher. I

I think the Rockets can hang here in a 45-17/48-21 type of game. As always, good luck and let's cash.
