FOOTBALL FRIDAY...Time For Another Winner

Giphy Images.

My best bets on my blogs have been really good so far. I'm happy with that sitting at 4-1 through two weeks of action. But as I've said before, I'm not gonna rest of the positive laurels for too long. Things can change, but let's continue to try and have some consistency. Tonight, I find myself very interested in a play in Florida State/Louisville.

Currently at Barstool Sportsbook, the Seminoles are 2.5 point road favorites with a total of 57.

Coming into the season, I was pretty high on FSU. I really like Jordan Travis at QB and this team rushing wise last year was really good. Not much has changed this year as they've ran for 538 yards in two games and have had several backs stepping up including Treshuan Ward and Trey Benson. The offensive line has been good too really making space for the backs and are top 10 in America in line yards on the ground.  Against LSU, I was also impressed with Travis, I thought he was poised and really good in a tough atmosphere against a good team.

Florida State will have a nice advantage in this matchup off a bye week. Louisville didn't get a bye week, after a nice win last Friday night at home against UCF. The problem Louisville has here against the run. This team isn't good upfront and they are lackluster overall defensively in my opinion. This group so far this season is allowing 5.3 yards per carry and 208 yards per game.  This was a problem they had last season too. I expect the Seminoles to have a nice advantage on the ground which will open up the pass. Jordan Travis has been effective and in my opinion, I think has a great year this season. This guy is dynamic and can really toss it around. From all accounts including several writers down in Tallahassee, Jordan Travis has looked very good all week. One writer, @Dane_Draper from Noles 24-7 said this about him:

If those who set betting lines could watch Jordan Travis practice every week, the spread would not be under a field goal.

I trust him and I trust the Noles offense. I played FSU TT OVER 29.5 at Barstool Sportsbook. In the end, I think FSU likely win 35-24 or something. It's not that I don't want to lay 2.5, I just know weird things happen on Friday night. I do think Louisville QB Malik Cunningham can be dynamic, and make a play or two occasionally which gives me some concern with the line as this could be more of a shootout. This very could very well fall 34-31 and FSU lose. I'm confident FSU can get to 30 and that's where I'm going. In the end, I don't care if they win or lose just hit 3-0.

I will be back Saturday with some more breakdowns. If you want some more of my opinions for this weekend in college football and NFL, check out my newest show, Big Man on Betting which airs every Thursday at 4pm EST on Barstool Sportsbook Youtube
