It's A Happy Day, It's A Good Day: Steelers Coaches Are Thrilled That Their Rookies Didn't Piss In Their Pants Against The Bengals

There's something about Steelers and bodily functions in their pants. Granted, this is a good day, a happy day. It's not a sad day, a bad day. There was no catastrophe. There was no shit, no piss. Just clean, dry pants. 

I don't know why but the image of this defensive coordinator in the NFL talking like, well, me to my 3-year old every morning is hilarious. Just thrilled that you don't have to deal with pee. That's a big win as a parent. There's few things better than the sigh of relief that they took themselves to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Hell, that goes for infants too. Head on a swivel during diaper changes. 

Let's think about it too. There are plenty of stories of football guys pissing their pants. It's called a competitive advantage. 

I can imagine playing in your first NFL game is nerve-wracking. Hell, take a look at fans in the stands during the game: 

Now imagine playing. I assume this is what it'd be like in the locker room for the majority of people who talk about how they could have made it to the league. 

Again, it's simple. Dry pants are good. 3 years, 23 years old, it doesn't matter. You can't be the person walking around with pee in your pants.
