The Newest NFL Rivalry: The Broncos/Seahawks Are Still Talking Shit And Bragging About The Game

People really care this much about Russ Wilson huh? Apparently. Let me get right to the point here too. I have zero problem with Seattle talking shit. They won the game. They can say whatever they want - even if they won in part because Nathaniel Hackett made one of the worst decisions in the history of coaching. Pete Carroll can surely relate to that. 

My only other problem? Melvin Gordon talking about playing Seattle in the Super Bowl. Ain't gonna happen. I feel confident in saying that. Hell there's a better chance both teams miss the playoffs by a few games than make the Super Bowl. We've already seen a Broncos/Seahawks Super Bowl. Don't need to go down that road again too. 

I personally love that they only play once. No revenge for the revenge game. Russ had his one shot to beat Seattle. Seattle had their one shot to beat Russ. It happened and we can move on. But I do want to talk about the Pete Carroll line real quick. You think they had enough of each other? 

Everyone has that couple in their lives who are just miserable. You can see it on their face. You can see it when they each talk under their breath when the other walks away. They try to smile through it, but the entire friend group just knows there's a breakup coming. That was Russ and Pete. Basically high school sweethearts who found out college has way more attractive people than each other. So, yeah, I get why Pete is rubbing it in. Of course he was thrilled to beat Russ. They moved on from each other. You want to show up with the hotter new person the first time you run into your ex.

PPS: Javonte Williams is better than Melvin Gordon.
