CADE YORK FROM 58 YARDS AND THE BROWNS BEAT BAKER AT THE BUZZER!

BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!! THE GREATEST WIN IN CLEVELAND BROWNS HISTORY!!!! THAT'S WHY YOU DRAFT A KICKER!!!!!

Listen, I know that probably seems like a bit of an overreaction, but that's truly how I feel. Losing to Baker Mayfield today would've broken my heart, but losing to Baker Mayfield in the fashion we were about to would've killed me. That game was over. Baker was playing perhaps his worst game ever, and he's had some BAD ones. I was already scouting the Jets for next week, counting my chickens before they hatched.

And then next thing you know, Baker runs in a touchdown. Then he throws a 75 yard touchdown. Then he leads the team down the field and sets up a go-ahead field goal with a 1:13 left and no timeouts for Cleveland.

But folks, you CANNOT leave that amount of time on the clock for Jacoby Brissett and the Browns refs.

Was that roughing the passer? The answer is Yes. And the reason is because THE REFS CALLED IT. Officiating is a tough job. If you think you could do better, then get your reffing license and do so. But until then, let's let the brave men and women in stripes call the game.

Don't talk to me about the fake spike that "could've" been Intentional Grounding either. Officiating is a thankless profession and these people should be commended, not ridiculed. I'll lead by example: I have no problems with how today's game was officiated.

The fact of the matter is that Jacoby and the refs led the boys down the field, unacceptably botched a 3rd and 1 spike, and set up the kick of a lifetime for our 4th round draft pick, Mr. Cade York. 58 yards and it would've been good from 80.

Through 1 career game, has Cade York already solidified himself as the greatest kicker in Cleveland Browns history?

I'd say Yes. And QB1 (after 11 games) agrees.

1-0 baby!!! For the first time in 18 years, the Browns have started off the season with a win. And as I've been saying, we just need to be 6-5 when Deshaun returns and we're still right in the Super Bowl mix. So let me do a little bit of math for you: at 1-0, we now just need to play .500 football the rest of the way out and we're golden. And folks, we play the dopey Jets next week.

15 minutes ago when the Panthers took the lead, I thought the season was over. Now (watching the Bengals and Steelers in the background), I'm pretty sure we're headed to the playoffs.
